Science, Nature & Love

This collection of poems makes you think, reflect and appreciate life and living from many perspectives. The combination of nature, mindfulness and unexpected observations, reminded me of aspects of The Tao of Physics and Mary Oliver, with overlapping insights and poetic beauty.

Lovely feelings artfully put into words!

I am thoroughly delighting in Terrell's book. Each selection evokes acute feelings through her employment of expression. I have my copy on my bed stand to read something lovely, either first thing in the morning or before I go to sleep. Poems, "Defining Definitions", "Tipping the Unlighted Candle," and "Self-worth," really speak to me. "Stamina" is my favorite of all! There are feelings to touch every heart in this book.
Slants on life to keep us afloat

Vision, And Other Things We Hide From is a beautifully produced volume... Samantha writes in support of a straight-up, in your face self-honesty, but one that's coupled to self-compassion. Her poems ask us to reach for the best 'us' we can be...safe in the knowledge that if we fall short, and fall often, we'll not be disqualified!
